The latest 9700 for New Bharat Coaches is its sixth Volvo in 18 months

New Bharat Coaches of Southall has added a further B11R-based 9700 integral, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

The new coach takes to six the number of Volvo coaches that the operator has purchased over the past 18 months, three of which are 9700s. It is 13.8m long and has 57 seats.

“We needed an additional quality vehicle that would be reliable and offer excellent fuel economy, and our existing positive experience with Volvo meant that we had no hesitation in adding another B11R,” says Director Taj Dhaliwal.

London touring work and private hire will keep the 9700 fully occupied. With its delivery, New Bharat’s fleet is now 90% Euro 6 and the operator aims for full compliance by April 2019.
