Stanley Travel has continued its affiliation with the VDL Futura FHD2 coach by taking delivery of another new example from VDL Bus and Coach UK.
It is a 12.9m, two-axle example that is PSVAR compliant. That package includes a lift above the rear axle, which the dealership notes maximises luggage capacity. Hanover destination display equipment is also installed.
57 VDL Class 300 seats with Top Luxe upholstery and Blackline finish are fitted, including USB charging points within the frames. A secure driver’s cabinet is part of the specification along with a Bosch entertainment system incorporating a DVD player.
Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 410bhp coupled to a ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox and an Intarder. 830-litre fuel tanks are part of the package, as are Alcoa Dura-Bright polished wheels.
The new coach was handed over to Stanley Travel Directors Andrew Scott and Gavin Scott (pictured, left) by VDL Bus and Coach UK Area Sales Manager Tim Fairless (pictured, right) at the dealership’s Barnsley premises.
