Cresta Coaches of Bridgend has taken delivery of a Temsa HD12 and a HD13, with the two vehicles supplied under a rental agreement provided by Asset Alliance Group.
They represent a furthering of Cresta’s work with Asset Alliance. The supplier funded an earlier new HD12 on hire purchase at the start of 2025, while more recently it facilitated the purchase of a used Mercedes-Benz Tourismo that the operator had previously leased.
Both latest Temsas are at work transporting domestic and inbound tourists across the UK and further afield. Director Ian Williams notes how Cresta Coaches has a partnership with Leisuretime by Toureasy, which requires a modern fleet.
“Unfortunately, there are still significantly long lead times if you want to buy new coaches in the UK directly from the manufacturers,” he continues. “The ability to secure these new additions from Asset Alliance Group’s rental fleet and get them working while we are at our busiest has been fantastic.”
The HD12 is a 53-seater and the HD13 carries 57 passengers. They each have part-leather upholstery, charging points, wood-effect flooring, wi-fi, internal CCTV, drinks machines, and a centre sunken toilet.
Power in both is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. The two coaches will work five to six days per week and are expected to each cover up to 100,000km per year. They sit as part of a 19-strong fleet.
Asset Alliance Business Development Manager Bus and Coach Paul Fairbanks handled the recent deals with Cresta Coaches, including the latest Temsa rental procurement.
Adds Mr Williams: “I have found Asset Alliance Group to be highly knowledgeable and customer oriented. However, what stands out more for me is its willingness to have a conversation about financing, deal terms, and deposits. It genuinely seems to want to help operators to achieve their goals.”
