Ellesmere, Shropshire-based Lakeside Coaches has bolstered its operation with the addition of two Volvo B11Rs with Panther bodywork, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).

Both are 12.8m long, 53-seat models. They each have three-point belts, USB charging points, a servery and a toilet.

Says MD Neal Hall: “Part of our business philosophy is to continue to invest in the future and to stay at the vanguard of the industry with modern, stylish vehicles that set the pace in terms of passenger appeal and performance.

“Our relationship with Plaxton goes back many years, and the new Panthers will go straight into operation on tour programmes running across the UK and in continental Europe.”

The coaches join an award-winning 64-strong fleet.
