Kidderminster operator Whittles Coaches, owned by Johnsons Coach and Bus Travel, has taken delivery of a Volvo B8R with Panther bodywork, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).
The 53-seater joins Whittles’ fleet of nine coaches and it offers passengers a high level of comfort, with a drinks machine, a toilet and a DVD player. It will be used on private hire, day trips, and holidays.
Says Operations Director Peter Johnson: “We are seeing a greater demand for our private hire coaches from local businesses and schools, and this new investment shows our continuing commitment to furthering the growth of Whittles Coaches.â€
Operations Manager Richard Johnson took delivery of the coach from Simon Wood of Plaxton. It entered service immediately.
