Police have renewed an appeal to find this man who, in an unprovoked attack, viscously assualted a bus driver who was checking the top deck of an empty bus at the terminus outside Fairfield Halls, Croydon.

The 53-year-old driver went downstairs when he heard doors open on the lower deck, where he was approached by a man who punched and kicked him several times, knocking the him to the floor.

He suffered a gash to his forehead and substantial bruising.

The driver has recovered from his injuries, but still suffers from emotional trauma months after the attack.

The attacker is described as a light-skinned black man, aged between 25 and 35, of large build and is about 6ft, with dark, tied back afro-style hair and a beard. He wore a green hooded Puffa jacket and is believed to be living in Croydon.
