Totalkare’s array of lifts and ancillary workshop equipment made a dramatic display at Euro Bus Expo this year, with the centrepiece being a set of four of the supplier’s T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts surmounted by a Temsa HD12 coach.
In addition to the mobile column lifts, Totalkare demonstrated the breadth of its ability to meet every conceivable workshop requirement through its range of equipment.
In the corner of the stand was an example of its vehicle inspection pit. Fabricated in the West Midlands, the pits can be custom ordered to any size and supplied with floor pit jacks, lighting and drainage.
Mobile brake testers have been a key product for Totalkare, with the supplier espousing the benefits that mobile brake testing can have on an operator’s maintenance costs and vehicle availability. The testers are fully galvanised and can be used outside of the workshop so as not to compromise workshop capacity. An in-ground cassette version was also on display.
On the far side of the stand stood Totalkare’s range of wheel and tyre servicing equipment, including commercial wheel balancer, which Marketing Manager Steve Braund says will become increasingly important for operators as awareness builds around the longevity that correct wheel alignment gives to tyres.
The supplier’s NAV101 tyre changer, capable of de-mounting a tyre in 30 seconds and re-mounting one in the same length of time, was also on display, joined by a host of other equipment that included air conditioning service units, manual handling tools, hydraulic presses, stanchion units and axle stands, compressors, and a fully galvanised mobile column lift, touted as the UK’s only fit-for-purpose wash-bay column lift designed for under-chassis washing.
Mr Braund hails Euro Bus Expo as “the only show representative of the coach and bus market in the UK” and that Totalkare’s presence is not just to capitalise on an important market but to showcase the products that now support coach and bus operators up and down the country in keeping their fleets roadworthy.
“These days there is nothing that we don’t do as far as workshops are concerned from a repair and maintenance equipment point of view, and we are always happy to hear from people about what their requirements are,” he adds.
