Bus services in Stone which were axed could be getting reinstated after a council stepped in to support it.
D&G’s A, B and C services were cut due to funding by Staffordshire County Council. But Stone Town Coucil has been in talks with a yet-to-be-named operator about launching a replacement service. It is now planning to sponsor a trial of four once a week.
