Members of the Coach Tourism Association (CTA) are being invited to the organisation’s Spring Networking weekend and annual general meeting in Norwich on 17-19 May.
The event at Kew Green Hotels’ Holiday Inn Norwich North will include familiarisation trips and Supplier Showcase.
With accommodation packages including dinner on the night of Saturday 17 May, the event proper begins on Sunday morning with a cruise of the Norfolk Broads, courtesy of Broads Tours. In the afternoon, delegates will move on to Holkham for lunch.
The trips are designed to give operators and wholesalers a taste of prospective tours in Norfolk, with travel provided by Eastons Holidays.
The evening offers opportunity for networking and business discussion, with entertainment provided by CN Live Productions’ West End Crooners.
The AGM will kick off Monday’s proceedings and that will be followed by a presentation on coach tourism and its opportunities in Norfolk.
The Supplier Showcase will conclude the event as suppliers have chance to talk one-to-one with coach operators and wholesalers.
“The line up of Norfolk fam trips will give coach operators an excellent opportunity to discover new attractions for their portfolio, combined with the hotels, attractions, and service providers presenting at the Supplier Showcase,” says CTA Chair Robert Shaw.
Last year’s event in Oxford was attended by more than 100 coach tour operators, wholesalers, and industry suppliers.
