Responding to demands for an automated fuelling management system, Jigsaw Fuel Management and installation providers Cameron Forecourt have a new innovation for PSV operators.
TeleTag provides hands-free automated fuel pump control, completely removing the need for fobs, cards or manual data entry.
Each vehicle has a passive RFID tag. As it draws up to the pump, the tag is read, the vehicle identified and the pump turned on.
TeleTag can be augmented by fitting Fuel Guard to the vehicle, so the mileage is automatically read resulting in a completely hands-free fuelling ID system.
Alternatively, if the vehicle has a telematics system, then the Jigsaw server can be linked to the telematics server to automatically recover a mileage with no additional hardware needed on the vehicle.
The system will be officially launched at Coach & Bus Live on Stand M41.
