CheckedSafe accredited by DVSA for pilot scheme

Vehicle compliance software provider CheckedSafe, is now an accredited DVSA partner for the agency’s upcoming six-month pilot of its Earned Recognition scheme (routeone, Big Story, 4 May).

Over the last year, CheckedSafe has been working with DVSA as a Software Compliance provider to get ready for the scheme.

The DVSA will electronically harvest data from operators relating to a variety of compliance markers. It will require regular reports to indicate compliance against key performance indicators.

The operator benefits by being taken out of scope of roadside or depot enforcement, except under exceptional circumstances.

The DVSA is looking for volunteer operators who show high standards of compliance; part of the requirement is that they have digital compliance systems, such as those offered by CheckedSafe.

Says CheckedSafe: “In choosing a digital system you can be confident that ours exceeds the requirements of the DVSA criteria and we will manage this process for you.”
