Oxford Bus Company has teamed up with the charity Unlimited Oxfordshire to offer a fully accessible version of its City Sightseeing Oxford tour.
As of 31 May, City Sightseeing Oxford’s guides will deliver the accessible version if any wheelchair or mobility scooter users are present.
The 45-minute-long version will feature the same highlights but make use the of the city’s dropped kerbs and ramps.

Diane Sider, committee member of Unlimited Oxfordshire, which is a charity that supports disabled people and carers, says: “We wanted to ensure all visitors can participate in the tour of the city of dreaming spires, regardless of their mobility.
“Our collaboration with the Oxford Bus Company, has allowed us to extend our reach and impact, raising awareness of the daily challenges faced by people who struggle with mobility.”
