CMAC Group names Matthew Ratcliffe as COO

CMAC Group has appointed Matthew Ratcliffe as its Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Ratcliffe, who has nearly two decades’ experience across the mobility and transportation sectors, will work under CEO Peter Slater in leading the operational capabilities of the ground transport and accommodation specialist business.

According to CMAC, he will “focus on delivering customer experiences, strengthening supply operations and scaling international growth”.

Ashley Seed, who has been serving as Interim COO, will move into the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

Mr Slater says: “We’re delighted to welcome Matthew to CMAC Group. As we continue to evolve and expand our services, Matthew’s leadership will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, scaling international growth and strengthening our market position.

“We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our business, clients and the wider industry.”

CMAC’s operations across the UK and 11 other countries, include the newly launched Great British Rail Replacement and Coach Hire Comparison, which it bought it 2023.

Mr Ratcliffe adds: “I am honoured to join CMAC at such an exciting time. The company has a strong reputation for service excellence across Europe and I look forward to working with the team to drive further success and create lasting impact for our clients and partners.”
