Enter now for the BCTAs

The deadline to enter the British Coach Tourism Awards 2018 (BCTAs) is next month.

Coach tour operators and industry suppliers are urged to get their entries in by the deadline of 17 November, reading for the judging, which takes place in December.

Full details of how to enter are online at britishcoachawards.co.uk.

New categories for 2018 include Dining Experience, and our first Reader’s Choice award, for Theatre Production.

To nominate a theatre show, email jchapman@divcom.co.uk with the name of your favourite, and your own name, company and address. Theatre Production nominations also close on 17 November.

The BCTAs will take place on 21 March 2018 at the National Motorcycle Museum, adjacent to the NEC, Birmingham. It promises to be another exceptional, entertaining evening.

The BCTAs categories are:

  • Coach Friendly Destination
  • Coach Friendly Visitor Attraction
  • European Coach Friendly Attraction
  • Cross-Sea Carrier
  • River and Inland Cruise Operator
  • Heritage Railway
  • Accommodation Provider (independent hotels)
  • Accommodation Provider (hotel groups)
  • Tour Wholesaler and Industry Supplier
  • Dining Experience (NEW)
  • Theatre Production – reader’s choice award (NEW)
  • Holiday Programme
  • Day Excursion Programme
  • Coach Tourism Innovation of the Year
  • Coach Tourism Professional of the Year
  • Coach Tour Driver of the Year
  • Coach Tour Operator – Small Fleet (1-5 coaches)
  • Coach Tour Operator – Medium Fleet (6-15 coaches)
  • Coach Tour Operator – Large Fleet (more than 15 coaches)
  • The British Coach Tourism Recognition Award.
