Eurocoaches is a further business to join FlixBus UK as an operator partner. It will commence delivery of routes in the West of England for the scheduled service provider in April, using a Volvo coach.
Addition of Eurocoaches to the partner roster by FlixBus continues the latter’s strong period of growth via the recruitment of additional operators. It says that over 200 FlixBus coaches will be on the UK’s roads by this summer.
Eurocoaches was founded in 1980 and remains family-run. It is based in Bristol and led by Director William Sanzo (pictured).
Speaking about the partnership, he says: “We are excited to be growing with FlixBus as the smarter, greener express network. We have wanted to join for some time, and this spring is the right moment for both businesses.
“The FlixBus team, particularly Senior Development Manager Josh Eeles, has been brilliant, and we have built a great relationship. We foresee a fantastic future together in partnership.”
FlixBus UK Managing Director Andreas Schörling notes that with the coach industry having recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of the first scheduled route in the UK, between Bristol and London, travel via the mode “has stood the test of time.”
Mr Schörling continues: “We are now proudly representing its future, growing our network with operators like Eurocoaches to bring high-quality services to the next generation.” A claimed more than 80 destinations in the UK are now served by FlixBus green coaches.
