Total Lubricants has launched a new diesel fuel additive called Total Excellium Concentrate Diesel.
Tests show that it reduces fuel consumption by up to 5% when added to regular fuel, and it cleans the engine by preventing injector fouling. As a result, engine life is extended by reducing internal friction and it also cuts maintenance costs.
In field testing over 12m km, injector fouling was prevented up to 99% of the time, and the additive was able to clean up to 45% of existing fouling.
