Transport Made Simple is the latest business to become a FlixBus operator partner as part of what the scheduled service provider says will be a doubling of its network size in the UK during 2025.
A further arrival follows multiple others announced in early 2025. Transport Made Simple will commence work for FlixBus in mid-April and receive five Yutong GT12 coaches to deliver services on behalf of the scheduled network.
Previously called Vectare, Transport Made Simple has grown rapidly since founding in 2016 and it now has 200 vehicles in multiple regions.
The FlixBus work has been made possible by the purchase of Simonds of Botesdale in Norfolk during 2024. Services will also run from the group’s Central Connect depot in Nottingham.
FlixBus UK Managing Director Andres Schörling has underlined that business’s long-held aim of becoming the largest scheduled coach network in the UK and notes that addition of Transport Made Simple “can only accelerate” that mission.
Mr Schörling adds that Transport Made Simple “has a forward-thinking approach to coach and bus travel, utilising advanced technology solutions to develop an exceptional group of transport businesses in a very short space of time.
“It is easy to see a synergy between our companies as young, growing businesses with a digital-first strategy.”
Transport Made Simple Managing Director Peter Nathanail (pictured) says that the group had identified scheduled coach services as “the obvious next phase of growth, and FlixBus was the standout option for our ambitious and tech-driven team.”
Continues Mr Nathanail: “Joining FlixBus as an operator provides high-quality, year-round stability, adding a valuable dimension to our rapidly developing portfolio. We advocate for a multimodal approach to transport, so we are looking forward to connecting coach services to some of the many local bus services we offer.”
