FlixBus says it wants to be there to support its passengers during the festive period and is preparing for growing demand.
This festive season the operator will provide increased frequencies, direct connections to Heathrow Airport and a number of domestic coach services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
It means in December FlixBus passengers will be able to travel directly to London from around 30 UK destinations, with the majority of journeys taking place between Birmingham and London.
The operator also plans to increase frequencies between England and Scotland with a seven-day-a-week service between Edinburgh and London during the Christmas period.
“By continuously growing our domestic network in 2021, we became part of the everyday life of many UK travellers,” says FlixBus UK Managing Director Andreas Schorling. “As always, we want to be there for our passengers on the days when it is the most important for everyone to reach their loved ones.
“We are proud that our team, local partners and the drivers share this important goal and are working passionately to bring everyone safely and conveniently to their destinations even on the festive days.”
For those travelling abroad to see loved ones, direct routes between London Heathrow Airport and several UK cities including Reading, Bristol, Cardiff, Bridgend, Swansea, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Bradford and Leeds will be available.
