TotalKare will use the Coach & Bus UK at the NEC, Birmingham on 4-5 October, to illustrate how to lift and support safely an Alexander Dennis bus for inspection and maintenance.

Visitors to stand M20 will see the bus raised on a set of TotalKare T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts. With a of 7,500kg lifting capacity per column, they can be moved to any location in a workshop.

With an inverted hydraulic cylinder lifting system and adjustable wheel forks, the T8DC lifts can be supplied in sets of up to eight columns and can be charged from a conventional 230V wall socket.

TotalKare will also use the Coach and Bus UK exhibition to showcase its range of CPD-certified competency training courses which ensure operators are trained according to a lift's operating manual and use the lift safely.

Details will also be available on the AfterKare service package that ensures all installed heavy-duty lifting equipment adheres to PUWER and LOLER legislation.

In addition, visitors will be able to learn about TotalKare's complementary Reports of Thorough Examination (RTE) service. Required under LOLER regulations, RTEs focus on safety-critical parts to ensure a lift is in full working order.

Finally, TotalKare will be showing examples from its range of ancillary products which includes support stands up to 2,030mm high and a 2,000kg capacity transmission jack.
