Falcon conversion is a keenly-priced front-entrance minibus from GM

The new cost-effective, front-entrance minibus replacement for the discontinued LDV Convoy from GM Coachwork has entered production.

The Ford Transit Falcon from the Devon-based vehicle convertor is a conversion of the Ford Transit LWB.

It has 16 OEM passenger seats with padded head restraints and armrests, and a three-step front entrance with a high grip, durable floor and high-visibility handrails. A powered entrance door is an optional extra.

It comes in a variety of options with new and used vehicles available, prices are from £25,995.

GM Coachwork says it is the only firm to offer a conversion-only service, with prices from £4,995.

David Vooght, GM Coachwork’s CEO, says: “We see scope for considerable numbers, because a front-entrance is often key to the contract market.”
