Grayson Thermal Systems has appointed Brendan Waldron, former Head of Rolls-Royce Electrical UK, as its new Engineering Director.
Mr Waldron has more than 20 years engineering experience, having begun his stint at Rolls-Royce in 2000 as an advanced apprentice.
He progressed to become Chief of Turbines Component Design in the Civil Aerospace division in 2019.
According to Grayson, Mr Waldron led several high-profile projects, including the engineering improvement programme for Rolls-Royce’s Trent 1000 and 7000 fleets.
He was a recipient of the Sir Henry Royce Award for Technical Innovation.

As part of his remit, Mr Waldron will oversee standardisation, talent development, process optimisation and innovation.

Mr Waldron will be looking to help further the business’s growth after a recent eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
