John Hill, RWT and Albion to look after British buyers with entire range to be on show at Euro Bus Expo
Harris Auto has confirmed five newly-named dealerships that will sell and support coaches and minicoaches from Higer, LDV and AOS (manufactured by Anadolu Isuzu).
In Great Britain, John Hill Coach Sales, RWT Commercial Services and Albion Coach Sales – based in central Scotland and a subsidiary of operators Hunters Executive Coaches and Rowe and Tudhope – will be agents for the three marques.
Northern Ireland will be handled by Co Londonderry-based HAJ Group. In the north-west of the Republic of Ireland, Donegal Automotive Services completes the line-up.
The dealers are an indication of the potential that Harris Auto sees for Higer, LDV and AOS products, says General Manager Chris Haughton.
Combined, the range will span minibuses to 70-seat coaches, including a 15-seat EV and coachbuilt 17-seater from LDV. The 9.6m Higer Super 9 (pictured) is included, as is a 9m midicoach from AOS. All will be shown at Euro Bus Expo. An 8m model from AOS will also be present and Harris promises several “significant introductions” in Q1 and Q2 2019.
“We are excited both with the new partnerships and to be building a strong sales and service network,” says Mr Haughton. “With our increasing investment, we will continue to develop our brands into major contenders. We hope to bring more innovation to the coach and bus industry in the years to come.”
Adds John Hill, MD of John Hill Coach Sales: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with Harris Auto, RWT and Albion Coach Sales. From what I have seen on the vehicles and the infrastructure around them, this is the perfect next step for us. It will not affect our current core business, which is built on a strong and loyal customer base.”
