Hearn’s Coaches, one of London’s leading coach operators, has entered into a partnership with the Transport Benevolent Fund CIO (TBF) where the operator is meeting the cost of its staff taking up TBF membership.

Hearn’s staff and their families will immediately qualify for the wide range of benefits available to TBF members, including help with medical, legal and welfare issues.

Hearn’s was founded by Ron and Patricia Hearn in 1947, and remains
in family ownership to this day, being run by three generations of the family. The business has grown to operate a top quality fleet of over 40 coaches on a wide range of work, locally in London, and beyond.

Jamie Thacker, Director of Hearn’s Coaches, said ”We are very excited to be partnering with TBF and will be providing full membership to every member of the team at Hearn’s.

“Personal difficulties are usually unannounced and can be very distressing.

“We want to ensure all of our employees have as much support as they possibly can if they ever have the need for it. TBF is the best initiative I have seen in the transport sector and we look forward to working closely with their team in years to come.”

Michael Gibson, TBF Organiser says: “We are delighted to welcome Hearn’s, a long established and widely respected operator, to the growing number of industry employers who are meeting the cost of TBF membership for their staff.

“The support of employers such as Hearn’s is a significant factor in the TBF’s current growth, which has seen membership rise to a new record level at over 55,000.”.
