Seaford & District is introducing a new Summer Weekend bus service, using some of its vintage and open-top buses.

Seaford & District will operate some of its vintage vehicles on new 124

Branded as the ‘East Sussex Tourist Trail’, the 124 service will operate between Lewes and Eastbourne on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from 10 June until the end of August.

It will serve visitor attractions along the way including Glyndebourne House, Charleston House, Berwick, Drusillas Park, Alfriston, Pevensey Bay and Pevensey Castle.

A Day Rover ticket will be available on-board, which can also be used on Seaford & District’s Eastbourne Sightseeing bus tour.

David Mulpeter, Proprietor of Seaford & District, says: “We will aim to provide a variety of interesting vehicles from our heritage fleet, subject to current DVSA local service licensing allowances for historic vehicles. These will provide great interest for enthusiasts and tourists alike.”
