Inbound on the up
More overseas tourists visited the UK in July than during any month on record, according to the figures from the Office for National Statistics. More than 4m trips to the UK were made in July, up 6% on 2016, and international visitors spent £2.8bn in July, the highest amount since records began in 1961.
