In anticipation of coach tourism restaring, travel tech supplier Inspiretec has bolstered its technology offering with coach sector specific components and is providing a free, no-obligation three-month trial to CPT and CTA members to demonstrate what it can offer.

Inspiretec has produced technology for the travel sector since 1995. Its customer relationship management (CRM) system, built for the travel industry, is designed to meet the requirements of individual sectors.

Recently added coach sector specific components include seat preference, favourite pick-up points, usual trip length, preferred destinations and more. Inspiretec says it will allow valuable insight into customers and their travel behaviour, providing operators a single view of enquiries and bookings. That data can then be used to maximise conversions, target marketing campaigns, and improve efficiency.

One key benefit is the ability to create targeted marketing campaigns based on customers’ historic enquiries and bookings. It gives coach operators the option to “hand pick” customers preferred trip types, pick up points, UK or European options and send sales and marketing information to them based on previous interactions. It also allows pre-departure emails, upgrade promotions and surveys to be automated. Monitoring of campaigns allows coach tour operators to find out what works and what doesn’t, so that future communications can be changed as needed.

“As coach holidays begin to resume, customer engagement has never been more important,” says Paul Middleton, Head of Commercial at Inspiretec. “We all know how tough the last year has been and as customers begin travelling again the market will be more competitive than ever before.

“Having the right tools in place to talk to customers effectively and maximise conversion, yet still ensuring that personal touch will be hugely important. We hope both CPT and CTA members will take up this trial offer and use it as an opportunity to see just what this system can offer their business.”
