Inspiretec’s Steve Gummer to help operators get onboard with CRM

Travel technology supplier Inspiretec has appointed Steve Gummer to a new role aimed at providing onboarding assistance for coach operators and travel companies that trial or sign up to its customer relationship management (CRM) product.

Steve, who was previously a branch manager at TUI, has been with the company for over 10 years. In his new role as Customer Success Executive, he will provide a dedicated point of contact and use his extensive knowledge of how travel companies work to help customers maximise the potential that the Inspiretec CRM product offers.

The creation of the role follows feedback from customers.

“Installing CRM is seen as easy, but some of our customers were telling us that they needed a little more guidance, especially those smaller operators who have little tech support in-house,” says Inspiretec Director of Customers’ Success Rebecca James. “Steve’s retail background means he has a 360° view of the process, and his new role ensures we go that extra mile to bridge this gap and ensure everyone is able to get the most out of CRM.”

Steve will also take responsibility for providing free, no-obligation ‘Surgery with Steve’ sessions, for companies that want advice on how CRM might work for them. His guidance will show how CRM works, how it is integrated, and will give potential customers an understanding of the benefits CRM can bring to their business.

“Most coach operators understand just how CRM can transform their business, giving them the power to automate tasks, thus freeing up manpower and providing knowledge about their customers buying habits,” adds Rebecca. “After the most challenging 18 months any of us have ever known, we want to ensure we offer guidance and advice to anyone who wants or needs it.”
