Established in 1953, Irizar Group-owned Jema Energy designs and manufactures Static Power Converters for different sectors, including power plants, oil and gas and renewable energy.
Estibalitz Aramburu, Business Development Manager for Jema, spoke in The Theatre on the second day of CBUK.
“In the long run, electric vehicles will become an important and significant part of our everyday life,” said Ms Aramburu.
Discussing how electric mobility can be integrated into cities, Ms Aramburu gave a detailed analysis on the electric bus market, the electrical impact, and an overall conclusion on electric mobility.
Stating: “The electrical impact of electric vehicle deployment can be easily anticipated.
“It’s time for electric operators to work on standards harmonisation to reduce the negative impact on the grid with technology already available.”
