Ahead of the final decision on the Lake District’s bid for World Heritage Status this August, three leading attractions are launching a new ‘Lakeland Heritage’ group package.

MV Tern

In the run-up to UNESCO’s announcement about the prestigious global accolade, Windermere Lake Cruises, Lakeland Arts and the Lakeland Motor Museum are hoping the new collaboration will help showcase the Lake District’s blend of culture, heritage and nostalgia.

The ‘Lakeland Heritage’ package will combine:

A cruise on one of Windermere’s three historic ‘steamers’ – MV Tern, MV Teal and MV Swan, the splendour of Blackwell – The Arts & Crafts House, and a more unexpected side of the Lakeland Motor Museum.
