Ffoshelig Coaches driver Derek John has retired after 37 years of service with the Carmarthen operator.

Derek made the decision at the end of last year to hang up his driving boots on 15 March when his driving licence was expiring, a few weeks before his 79th birthday in April.

“Derek was well respected by the team at Ffoshelig and was well-liked by customers,” says the firm.

“He will be missed and we wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement.”
