Mellor has announced a new distribution partner in Germany and Austria for its range of battery-electric buses.

The partners are Jebsen and Jessen Industrial Solutions, headquartered in Hamburg, which has a network of customer facilities “capable of delivering against Mellor’s high service standards”. A spokesperson for Mellor says it “will provide its customers with a holistic e-mobility retail experience,” and that “operators will benefit from a route and service analysis and assistance in selecting the most appropriate vehicle specification for their needs.”

The partnership will see Jebsen and Jessen overseeing the sale and service of the Sigma and Orion-E models in the region.

Says Gustavo Marqueta, Group Business Development Director at Mellor: “Jebsen and Jessen’s outstanding reputation in the DACH region will be of great benefit to Mellor as we continue to grow our share of the international zero-emission bus market.

“We look forward to introducing our size- and cost-appropriate electric bus portfolio to new public and private transport companies in this growing region.”

Martin Gruber, Managing Director and Head of Transportation and e-Mobility at Jebsen and Jessen, adds: “We are delighted to work with Mellor and its team on future e-mobility projects and are proud to add electric midi and minibus solutions to our product portfolio.”
