Mellor will be making its IAA show in Hannover, Germany, debut this year with a presence on the stand of German distributor, E-VADE.

It has been 12 months since the Rochdale based small bus manufacturer began to make moves into the European market by appointing E-VADE as its representative in Germany, along with similar distributorships in Scandinavia and Benelux.

Showcased on the stand will be Mellor’s Orion E full-electric 16-seat bus, which received its European launch at Bus World in October 2017.

Mellor’s recently appointed Overseas Sales Manager, Tom Morrison, will be on the stand for the duration of the exhibition and said: “Mellor’s international expansion activity got underway at Bus World last year and for 2018, it is very exciting for the company to be participating in the high profile, globally recognised IAA exhibition for the first time.

“In addition to seeing local market customers and those from countries covered by our established distributorships, we are looking forward to meeting up with visitors from markets from all around the world, such as Malaysia, Singapore and Canada.

“As well as the Orion E, which will be available on the stand for visitors to see for themselves, we’ll be discussing other vehicles from the Mellor range including the Strata LF and HF and Tucana II.

“We hope that those visiting the show will come along to E-VADE’s stand number M95 to learn more about Mellor and our range of market leading small buses.”

Mellor will also be exhibiting at this year’s Euro Bus Expo at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, 30 October-1 November on stand B40, where several new vehicles are being launched to the UK and European markets.
