Mellor will launch a vehicle at Busworld Brussels in October that has been designed specifically for the demand responsive transport (DRT) market.
Mellor believes that DRT has not yet reached its potential and that a suitable vehicle will go a long way to addressing that. While it has not revealed which chassis the minibus will be built on, it says that it will have easy access and “a passenger space honed to suit the needs of today’s travellers.”
It will have a low floor and be able to meet the demands of emerging route planning technology.
