New vehicles, new staff and a whole new look: Mitcham Belle Coaches reveals a rebrand

Mitcham Belle Coaches has revealed the changes it has made with its latest rebrand.

The operator, currently celebrating its 50th year under control of the Wilde family, has been in operation for 90 years and has made many changes this year.

“From branding colour, logo, website and premises, everything is new; we’ve gone for a whole rebrand,” says Marketing Manager Aimee Wells.

 New vehicles

“We’ve got 12 vehicles in total and a third of them are brand new Euro 6,” says Ms Wells.

“The feedback we received said that the older vehicles were dated. So we went out and bought these new ones.”

Added to Mitcham Belle’s fleet is a 19-seater Mercedes-Benz 516CDi Sprinter Unvi Vega GT; a 22-seater Mercedes-Benz 516CDi Sprinter Unvi Vega EX; and two 35-seater Yutong TC9s.

Says Ms Wells: “They’re low-emission and eco-friendly. We’re really trying to take a step towards that, as we’re all really conscious of it.”

As well as the new vehicles, the older vehicles are also getting an update.

“As we have changed our branding colours, we are spraying all of the white vehicles graphite grey to match the new ones,” says Ms Wells.

New look

The inspiration behind the rebrand came from the industry.

“It’s a big industry and competitive,” says Ms Wells. “We need to keep up with the times.”

The previous premises have been sold and the company will move at the end of this month, with Managing Director Kevin Wilde keen for the money from the sale being “invested back into the business”.

Mitcham Belle Coaches’ new website is live, but changes are still ongoing.
