Britain's most easterly point is set to become a tourist attraction, as £1m has been secured to fund its makeover. Ness Point in Lowestoft, Suffolk, will have a new visitor centre celebrating the area’s maritime heritage, as the council hopes to make the semi-derelict site an attraction similar to Land’s End or John O’Groats.
