Two new appointments at JJP Holdings Group-owned Crosville Motor Services (CMS) are setting a new course for the Weston-super-Mare based operator.

It comes as further investment has been placed from JJP Holdings Group into CMS which will see “further positive changes for 2018.”

CMS has also been successful winning a number of tenders in a recent Somerset County Council tender round.

John Wye has joined as Compliance and Managing Director, focussing on rebuilding growth in the local area and leading the team to achieve the highest results with “ultimate value on compliance and delivery.”

It means that interim MD Chris Hilditch is able to step back, having provided support in recent months generating positive results for the business.

David Mason has been appointed Fleet Engineer to lead the engineering department. Previously with Go South Coast, he will building his own team with in-house engineering, focusing on high service delivery coupled with a ‘zero harm’ approach to safety and compliance.

Says CMS Chairman Jonathan Jones-Pratt: “The two appointments to Crosville are a great testament to 2017’s learnings. It is evident that we are moving forward and attracting some great people into the business.

“I welcome the new business structure and look forward to the business succession plan taking effect early Q1.

“The team has all worked very hard and I am continually embraced by the can-do attitude of the staff.
