New director for German tourist office

Beatrix Haun has been appointed as the new director of the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) for the UK and Ireland.
Ms Haun was previously director of the German National Tourist Board in France, based in the Paris office. She took up her new post in August and succeeds Klaus Lohmann.
She says: “I am delighted to be taking up the post of Director for the GNTO UK and Ireland; these are ranked among the most important source markets for incoming tourism to Germany worldwide.”
