NK Holidays marked its fifth anniversary on 7 July, with the Sittingbourne coach operator offering guests at that celebration goody bags, a slice of cake, and opportunities to win travel vouchers.
The company was established during the lockdown period of 2020. It is led by Managing Director Steve Mason, who has an over-40-year career in the coach industry. Prior to that commencing, he served in the Royal Air Force.
It provides day trips and holidays and since 2020 “has blossomed into a thriving business, deeply rooted in the Sittingbourne community,” the operator says.
Two new Mercedes-Benz Tourismos have joined the Kent business in recent months, further enhancing the product offering and both carrying a distinctive two-tone blue livery.
As part of its five-year celebration, NK Holidays also invited the local press to take part in its event. The business says that the provision of coach holidays and day trips represents a local success story and is delivering a positive impact on the community in Sittingbourne and beyond.
“We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved over the past five years,” adds Mr Mason. “Starting during lockdown was daunting, but the support from the Sittingbourne community has been phenomenal.
“We are excited to celebrate this journey with them and we look forward to many more years of providing fantastic coach experiences. Our new coaches are a testament to our commitment to quality and our passengers.”
Upon arrival of a 25-plate Tourismo in March, Mr Mason noted how its purchase was testament to the business’s growth and the support seen from customers. That vehicle is a 13m, tri-axle Tourismo M/3 model with just 48 seats and followed a similar 74-plate example.
