Four DAF LF-based Noone Turas 900s have been sold in Britain already

Midlands Bus and Coach Sales (MBCS), the recently-named supplier of the Noone Turas range of small coaches in Britain, has made its first sales appointment in Steve Peck.

Mr Peck will handle the southern half the country and MBCS Director Andy Garratt expects to name a counterpart for the northern half soon, he says.

He also reports strong interest among buyers in the Turas range. Four orders have been taken for the Turas 900s, which is the first midicoach to be built on the DAF LF chassis in right-hand drive form.

It complements the existing Turas 900 on a Mercedes-Benz Atego underframe.

“We are also seeing enquiries from established industry names,” says Mr Garratt, who adds that the first Turas 900s will be delivered in Q2 2019. Overall, MBCS is into double figures for sales across the Turas range, although it has confirmed that it will not offer Otokar products.
