The Cambridgeshire Bus Coach and Taxi Association (CBCTA) has publicly published its official objection and evidence it has submitted to the Traffic Commissioner (TC) relating to an application for 45 O-licences [routeone/news/17 January].

The applications have been made by newly-formed commercial companies Fenland ACT Trading Limited (34 vehicles) and Huntingdonshire ACT Trading Limited (11 vehicles).

The objections cover three main grounds:

– Conduct of the individual directors running the parent organisations

– Allegations that the financial standing has potentially been obtained illegally

– The apparent intended use of publicly-funded minibuses to be used competitively in the commercial market

The evidence required to support the objections has been made “for the sake of transparency” says the CBCTA.
