Passenger growth seen on Urby

Translink’s Urby service is attracting record passenger numbers, with 8% passenger growth since its introduction last September.

The high-spec double-decker buses, manufactured by Wrightbus, were first introduced to Newtownards and Ballyclare, and have been rolled out across park-and-ride services in the Greater Belfast area.

Translink’s Bus Services Manager David Curry says: “The buses are state of the art in terms of specification, technology, performance and environmental features, and we look forward to welcoming more ‘smarter’ travellers on board.
