Paul Clark Services is rolling out a new system for scheduling its engineers.

“We are going on to an app-based system that will allow us to have control of hours and where engineers go to work, and their reports and all of their job sheets, health and safety, everything effectively,” explains Michael Britten, Service Delivery Director of the company that provides engineering support services to the UK bus and coach industry.

“At the moment we are doing a lot of training with the engineers. We are hoping that it will be live by the end of the year,” says Mr Britten of the new app, which is BigChange’s JobWatch.

It should be better for the company’s administration team and offer better control of engineers who will know directly where they are going to be by viewing their phone or other device.

“Long-term, it will give the opportunity for customers to use our app to place orders effectively for engineers.”
