Manchester-based firm has been founded by four highly-experienced coach and bus finance people

Coach and bus finance experts Scott Burke, Paul Ricci, Donna Street and Guy Wadsworth have formed Praetura Direct Finance, which they say has been established to work specifically with operators to “find the right funding for vehicles and equipment.”

The business offers an extensive in-house lending portfolio alongside key partnerships with many banks and alternative finance providers.

That is leveraged by what Praetura Direct Finance describes as its team’s extensive knowledge of the sector and of what operators within it require.

Praetura Direct Finance can offer funding for both new and second-hand vehicles and it is looking to work with all of the vehicle types that are in the market, irrespective of marque.

The Manchester-based company is also able to fund ancillary and garage equipment.

That includes vehicle lifts, washing systems and CCTV installations among others, says Mr Wadsworth, who is Commercial Director. It can also assist with refinance for both consolidation and expansion purposes.

“Our offer is that we can both use our own lending portfolio and give operators access to other finance providers. We have potential for growth among our funding lines.”

Mr Wadsworth adds that Praetura Direct Finance will work with all operators regardless of size as a result of its extensive access to finance.

“I am confident that we can place a deal with the right funder for the right price. We will work with smaller operators and start-ups as well as larger companies.”
