Preparation work has begun on Alexander Dennis’s (ADL’s) new facility in Farnborough – Trident House – which is set to become the base for its team members in the South of England.

The new centre was teased earlier this year in ADL’s company update, where it was revealed team members and functions at Slyfield are to be relocated to the new site accompanied by a “reinvigoration” of the Dennis brand.

Located in the Farnborough Aerospace Centre campus, the new site will provide a working environment for aftermarket, operations, procurement, commercial, finance and IT. There will also be workshop facilities to enable engineering work and testing and development.

The space will also be used for vehicle handovers, presentations, and will house a museum dedicated to the Dennis brand.

“Trident House will be both a great working environment for our team members, as well as a fitting reminder of all that has been achieved by the Dennis brand,” says ADL President and Managing Director Paul Davies. “The Dennis brand remains a foundational pillar of ADL, and is synonymous with innovation and engineering expertise, while emphasising the critical role Dennis will continue to play in our business growth moving forward.”

Trident House is set to open in early 2022.
