A failure to attend a Public Inquiry (PI) to explain how he met the restricted licence requirements has resulted in the revocation of the O-Licence held by Birmingham-based Mohammed Yasin Ayub by Traffic Commissioner (TC) Nick Denton.
In his decision the TC said that, as part of a general exercise, his office wrote on 23 June 2020 to a number of restricted PSV licence holders where there was some reason to believe, from the operators’ websites or other information, that operating PSVs was now their main occupation, thus rendering them ineligible to hold a restricted O-Licence.
