The routeone Awards gained double recognition at the 2025 Awards Awards ceremony in London on 27 June, claiming victory in the Best Longstanding Awards Event category and taking bronze in the Best Development of an Existing Awards Event field.

Those honours come as announcement of the shortlist for this year’s routeone Awards nears, with those parties to be revealed on Monday 14 July. Judges are completing their work in readiness to agree the finalists’ roster and will meet on 9 July to confirm the operators and people that will move to the next round of judging.

Silverware at the 2025 Awards Awards acknowledges the almost two decades of innovation, credibility and commitment to celebrating achievement in the coach and bus industry that form the foundations of the routeone Awards.

Awards Awards Judges noted that the entry was highly impressive and that development of the routeone Awards in recent years represents “a truly impressive evolution, with innovative approaches and outstanding growth.”

The panel was also highly impressed with the efforts of organisers, observing that those showcase “a strong commitment to continuous improvement.”

Such success comes off the back of a change of venue in 2024 to The Vox at Resorts World Birmingham, where around 900 industry guests assembled to see awards in 16 categories presented.

Speaking about the Awards Awards triumphs, routeone Awards Event Director Helen Conway (pictured, second from right) says: “To receive this recognition is a huge honour. It is a proud moment for our team and a reflection of the incredible support we receive from across the coach and bus community.

“This win belongs to our judges, partners, and every operator and individual who has taken part over the years. They have helped to shape what the Awards are today.”

2025 is the 19th year of the coach and bus industry’s premier evening event. This year’s presentation ceremony will be held at The Vox on Thursday 13 November. It is already shaping up to be a stellar gathering, with entry numbers above 2024 totals.

Commercial interest is equally strong, with last year’s Awards having drawn 35 such partners along with outstanding Net Promoter Scores from both attendees (+65) and entrants (+54), which indicate how likely someone is to recommend an experience to others. Those returns are considered world-class in event benchmarking.

Other highlights included positive feedback across the event experience. 95% of attendees rated production quality as very good or excellent and 88% praised the venue. 86% were impressed with the dining experience, and 76% viewed the networking element as very good or excellent.

Tickets for the 2025 routeone Awards presentation evening will go on sale shortly at ÂŁ205 each plus VAT. Included will be a networking drinks reception, a three-course meal, table wine, entertainment, and courtesy coaches to local hotels.

The event is already building momentum following the success of 2024 and it is set to deliver what organiser Diversified Communications says is another unforgettable evening for the UK’s coach and bus community. Those wishing to book tickets can join a waiting list to be among the first to hear when sales open.
