Seaward Travek’s new UNVI Touring GTs replace two similar older coaches

Seaward Travel of London has taken delivery of two Mercedes-Benz Ategos with UNVI Touring GT bodywork, supplied by Taylor Coach Sales (01638 780010).

They have 41 seats along with a DVD player and alloy wheels, and they are built on the 15-tonne GVW Atego with the 240bhp, 7.7-litre OM 936 engine coupled to a Powershift 3 automated manual gearbox.

“These coaches offer excellent luggage space and leg room, so they are equally at home on school runs, airport transfers and extended tours. That makes them very useful vehicles to have,” says General Manager Richard Cassell.

“In line with our policy of updating our fleet on a five-year turnaround, they have replaced two similar vehicles purchased in 2012 that we were very happy with.”
