First Bristol will start operating its new m2 metrobus service from 3 September and its m3 service will start running on Sundays from 16 September.

First Bristol’s new m2 metrobus service will start operating from 3 September

Says First Bristol MD James Freeman: “The m2 serves popular leisure destinations such as Ashton Gate, SS Great Britain and Wapping Wharf, Cabot Circus for shopping and Temple Meads for onwards travel, and we hope that it will appeal to many customers.”

It replaces the current 903 Service between Long Ashton Park & Ride and the city centre, which is operated under contract to Bristol City Council.

First Bristol is also expanding its m3 service’s existing Monday to Saturday timetable to include a Sunday service.

Adds Mr Freeman: “Since we started operating the m3 Metrobus Service at the end of April, we have been delighted to see steadily growing passenger numbers with around 120,000 journeys made so far.”
