Stagecoach East Scotland has officially launched a new service between St Andrews and Edinburgh Airport which has a dedicated luggage compartment which it says is ideal for golf clubs.
Coaches on the JET787 linking Scotland’s busiest airport with “the Home of Golf” have a side compartment labelled for golf clubs.
The limited-stop service, which began operating in May, also serves Guardbridge, Cupar, Auchtermuchty, Kinross Park and Ride, and Halbeath Park and Ride.
Services run every two hours and take approximately 90 minutes.
Sarah Elliott, Commercial Director for Stagecoach East Scotland, says: “There’s an exciting summer golf season ahead, and we’re ensuring visitors can enjoy convenient, hassle-free travel direct to the home of the sport from Edinburgh Airport.
“We’ve carried thousands of people on the JET787 service since it first launched in May and, with the spacious luggage compartments, passengers can bring everything they need to enjoy their visit.”
The JET787 complements the established JET747 linking the airport with Ferrytoll, Inverkeithing and Halbeath.
