Stratford-upon-Avon will have its own group-friendly Christmas market this year.

The new three-day event is organised by Stratford-upon-Avon District Council working with LSD Promotions (Marketplace), which also organises the popular Worcester Victorian Christmas market.

Taking place on 8-10 December, the Stratford market will also be Victorian-themed, including a traditional funfair with carousel and other entertainment zones – plus gift and craft stalls, and street food. Street and staged entertainment will be delivered by amateurs and professionals.

Coach parking will be at the Stratford Leisure Centre, Bridgefoot, at £8 for up to 12 hours. Coaches can drop off passengers near the event. More information at goo.gl/DoJWyz
